Travis,
How are you at taking photos? What I also enjoy in reading the Thursday Outdoor page in the Chronicle are the photos. Also the short quips by Bill Carter in his ad are fun, insightful and often patriotic.
I have heard you tell of some of your hunting adventures and would like to hear or read about them.
By the way, was the time you were at the Little Blue House 8 years ago when you shot that nice 8 point on the north easement?
Keep writing!

Hey Uncle Steve!
I am pretty decent at photos, and I plan on adding some to my posts. Unfortunately I didn’t have any of the trip. I am definitely planning on writing about my experiences, both old and new, complete with pics and all. As far as that 8-pointer, that was actually about 10 or 11 years ago. I know I was in highschool. It is hard to imagine because it was hands down the biggest buck taken off that piece of property since ’68 or more, but it wouldn’t have been a shooter buck by today’s regulations. I am happy for the new laws. They really seem to be doing what they are intended for. I was planning on writing about that one for my next deer hunting piece. I want to do a fishing story first though. Thanks for reading my pieces, and for the comments. Good to hear from you!
